Navigating the Intellectual Property (IP) landscape is essential for MedTech, BioTech, and HealthTech startups to protect their innovative ideas, attract investors, avoid legal issues, build a strong brand, and monetise their IP. By investing in an IP strategy and taking steps to protect their assets, startups can position themselves for long-term success in the competitive market.
However, early-stage startups face various challenges regarding IP protection and creating an IP moat around their technology. These challenges include limited resources, lack of expertise, disclosure risks, patentability, and international protection.
Through this event, IPOS International aims to broaden the scope of how healthcare startups can protect their intangible assets beyond patents which are equally important in gaining a competitive advantage. This event will be followed by a networking session for on-site participants to connect.
