Speaker: Dr. Steven Tucker

Dr. Steven Tucker is Chief Medical Officer at CXA Group, a technology startup bringing evidence based wellness into the workplace to improve employee health and control healthcare costs.

At CXA he focuses on digital strategies and tools for the treatment and prevention of common diseases including diabetes and obesity.

Dr. Tucker has a diverse portfolio of experience within population health, including his role as Strategic Director for Oncology & Genomics at MetLife Asia, Chief Medical Advisor at Lumen Lab Innovation Center, and being the first Global Health Advisor at Singapore telecommunications(Singtel).

He is also the founder of Flip Health, a population health management service applying data science and novel engagement strategies to reduce the risk of chronic disease.

An active clinician, Dr. Tucker is the founder of Tucker Medical Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based multispecialty practice that provides both general primary care and sub-specialty medicine.

Founded in 2011, Tucker Medical offers integrated care in Medical Oncology, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Family Medicine, Nutrition, and Mental Health services in Singapore and to patients across South East Asia.

Dr. Tucker trained in Internal Medicine, Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation at the UCLA Center for Health Sciences. While at UCLA he studied molecular biology in the laboratory of Dr. Charles Sawyers and joined the UCLA faculty as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in 1999.

Dr. Tucker is an alumnus of the Singularity University FutureMed program and a member of Leadership Team for the Singapore SU Chapter. He is a Fellow of both the Singapore Academy of Medicine and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Tucker remains active in academic research and publishing; he recently joined the MIT - Singapore Alliance for Research and Technology as Health and Medical Futurist, teaching medical innovation and design thinking.
