Introduction of Talent team:
Great talents are needed for startups to grow. The Talent team designs and implements strategies targeted at addressing talent challenges faced by deep tech startups. We have a range of engagement activities which we organise and execute to bring talent and startups together. These aim to build meaningful and long term connections in the ecosystem. Our work involves a lot of creativity, thoroughness and perseverance as we have a myriad of activity going on daily - from pipeline building strategies to leadership capability development programmes. We are seeking an experienced Talent Partner to handle all recruitment matters relating to scaling-up of Deep Tech startups invested into or supported under SGInnovate.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with founders and hiring managers to understand specific talent needs
- Proactively identify and source potential new deep tech companies that could benefit from our talent programs and initiatives
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with these companies to expand the recruitment network and generate new opportunities
- Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers, clusters and talent pools within the deep tech space (e.g., founders, programme alumni etc)
- Work closely with recruiters to manage the full recruitment process, ensuring effective and efficient placement of hires
- Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, proactively sharing data-centric updates within the Talent Team
- Leverage and maintain data report and performance metrics to drive improvements as needed
- Collaborate with Marketing team to deliver marketing campaigns targeting companies for recruitment purposes (e.g. employer branding initiatives)
- Represent Talent Team in executing key activities (events and projects) held at our offices and at external locations. Some examples of activities include networking events, talks and career fair
- Other duties as assigned to ensure team success.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with minimum 2 years of experience within Start-ups
- Passion and interest in startups and emerging technologies (e.g. Agrifood, Sustainability Tech, Advanced Manufacturing, Additive Materials, etc.)
- Strong attention to details and the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Team player who can adapt to a fast-paced environment quickly
- Strong problem-solving, data analytics and reporting skills
- High sense of urgency
It will be advantageous if you have:
- Prior experience in recruitment activities
- Basic knowledge of the tech industry
- Experience working in a venture capital firm and gain exposure to the startup scene in Singapore
- Experience working in a startup in Singapore
