Position Summary:

We are seeking an innovative mind to play a crucial role in the creation of a comprehensive framework to evaluate the growth and maturity stages of deep tech ecosystems. This framework will serve as a vital tool to understand, assess, and enhance the progress of deep tech ecosystems. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research on existing frameworks, models, and indicators used to measure ecosystem growth, innovation, and technology adoption. 

  • Gather and analyse quantitative data from various sources, such as startup databases, research reports, and industry publications, to identify relevant metrics and benchmarks. 

  • Develop and gather qualitative data in the form of surveys and outreach to various stakeholders in our ecosystem 

  • Design and develop a multi-dimensional framework that encompasses key dimensions of deep tech ecosystem growth, including technological advancements, funding landscape, talent development, research collaboration, and market adoption. 
  • Define clear growth stages within the framework and establish criteria for transitioning from one stage to another. 

  • Translate the framework into a user-friendly, interactive tool or dashboard. 

  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, including deep tech startups, accelerators, investors, and government agencies, to gather feedback and validate the framework's effectiveness. 
  • Assist in drafting reports, whitepapers, and presentations that communicate the framework's insights, methodology, and practical applications. 


     

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Masters's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Business Analytics, Economics, Innovation etc.). 
  • Strong interest in deep tech innovation, startups, and ecosystem development.

  • Solid research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information from diverse sources.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Prior experience in ecosystem analysis, technology assessment, or innovation strategy is advantageous but not mandatory.
