Overview of Internship Scope:
As an Intern, Information Technology (IT), you will contribute to the work of our IT team in various projects aimed at enhancing our technological infrastructure and information security measures and investments. You will participate in evaluating innovative solutions for cybersecurity, the use of AI, workflows & productivity. You will also be exposed to proposing actionable recommendations and procurements to improve our systems and attaining/ maintaining certification.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Assist in the evaluation of solutions.

Assist in the design and implementation phishing exercises and awareness training to educate SGInnovate staff on cybersecurity threats and raise awareness about best practices in cybersecurity.

Assist the team with security operations such as monitoring and responding to security incidents to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our information systems. This will involve the use of tools for attack surface monitoring, dealing with threats & vulnerabilities, patch management, etc.

Support the team in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies. You will help assess risks associated with IT operations and contribute to the development of the governance frameworks.
Requirements:

A foundational understanding of information technology principles is essential for this role.

Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, tools, and practices will be beneficial in supporting our initiatives.
