Inspired by one of the world’s most visionary leaders, the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition (LKYGBPC) is one of Asia's most globally representative and exciting deep-tech startup challenges. Every two years, our pitch competition lights up a global stage for next-gen founders to showcase their groundbreaking innovations and connect with the world, fueling their growth.
Powered by Singapore Management University’s Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SMU IIE), we have fostered a global youth innovation village and launched countless successful ventures solving real-world challenges since 2002.
LKYGBPC empowers next-gen innovators from universities worldwide to tackle critical global challenges. In 2023, we attracted over 1,000 applications from 77 countries and awarded over $2.5 million in prizes.
This year, our focus is on Urban Solutions & Sustainability, with a spotlight on climate tech, public health, and the use of AI in USS.
The top 50 finalist teams will be flown into Singapore for a week-long immersion festival, BLAZE. In addition to the Category Finals and Grand Finals happening during BLAZE, finalists will gain maximum exposure to VCs, corporates, government agencies, successful innovators, and youths in Singapore.
