Stefan MENZEL, Chief Scientist, Honda Research Institute Europe
Stefan MENZEL

Stefan Menzel is a computer science professional with long history in design and system optimisation in the automotive domain. Currently he is Chief Scientist at the Honda Research Institute Europe, Offenbach/Main, Germany, which he joined after receiving his Ph.D. degree in civil engineering from Technical University Darmstadt, Germany, in 2004. His main research interests include evolutionary optimisation and generative artificial intelligence with special focus on adaptive representations in design optimisation, machine learning for knowledge transfer, and multidisciplinary optimisation for real-world applications. Klaus-Robert MÜLLER, Professor, Technische Universität Berlin
Klaus-Robert MÜLLER

Klaus-Robert Müller has been a professor of computer science at Technische Universität Berlin since 2006; at the same time he is directing rsp. co-directing the Berlin Machine Learning Center and the Berlin Big Data Center and most recently BIFOLD. He studied physics in Karlsruhe from1984 to 1989 and obtained his Ph.D. degree in computer science at Technische Universität Karlsruhe in 1992. After completing a postdoctoral position at GMD FIRST in Berlin, he was a research fellow at the University of Tokyo from 1994 to 1995. In 1995, he founded the Intelligent Data Analysis group at GMD-FIRST (later Fraunhofer FIRST) and directed it until 2008. From 1999 to 2006, he was a professor at the University of Potsdam. From 2012 he has been Distinguished Professor at Korea University in Seoul.

Qiang YANG, Professor, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Qiang YANG

Qiang Yang is a Fellow of Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE) and Royal Society of Canada (RSC), Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer of WeBank and Chair Professor of CSE Department of Hong Kong Univ. of Sci. and Tech. He is the Conference Chair of AAAI-21, President of Hong Kong Society of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (HKSAIR), the President of Investment Technology League (ITL) and Open Islands Privacy-Computing Open-source Community, and former President of IJCAI (2017-2019). He is a fellow of AAAI, ACM, IEEE and AAAS. His research interests include transfer learning and federated learning. He is also the founding EiC of two journals: IEEE Transactions on Big Data and ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology. His latest books are Transfer Learning, Federated Learning, Privacy-preserving Computing and Practicing Federated Learning.
