AI and Chatbots: Understanding ChatGPT and its Applications

The field of chatbots and artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly evolving and the integration of emerging technologies like AI and blockchain are revolutionising the way chatbots are designed, developed and deployed. Through a combination of case studies and hands-on exercises, participants will gain an understanding of the basics of AI and chatbots, as well as the more advanced concepts such as natural language processing, ChatGPT, chatbot development, deployment and optimisation, and the applications of AI and chatbots in various industries. By the end of the module, participants would have gained a solid understanding of AI and Chatbots and how they can be leveraged in various applications. This course is part of the Advanced Certificate in Metaverse and Artificial Intelligence. At the end of the 2-day module, participants will be able to: - Gain an overview of chatbots, AI in different industries and their correlation to blockchain and decentralised technologies - Gain an understanding of designing and developing chatbots and training and testing chatbots - prototyping - Understand the concepts of personalisation and context-awareness in chatbots and ChatGPT - Understand the process of integrating chatbots and monitoring and maintaining chatbots for improvements - Identify the synergy between Web 3.0, chatbots and AI, i.e., decentralisation and AI-powered chatbots; personalisation and privacy in chatbots; integration in Web 3.0
