David Bergendahl, Business Development Manager, ABEJA Singapore
Specialising in managing and supporting early stage Japanese technology start-ups to enter the global market, David has experience with establishing subsidiaries and localising business models in the Japanese, US and Singaporean markets. He is currently managing the global business initiatives and strategy at ABEJA, Inc., providing expertise, education and consultation for enterprises and conglomerates in the ASEAN region on how to successfully implement Artificial Intelligence into their business processes.
Dr. Ettikan Kandasamy Karuppiah, Director of Developers Ecosystem and Enterprise Business (SEA & ANZ Region), NVIDIA Singapore
Dr. Ettikan Kandasamy Karuppiah assists innovators, researchers and techno-entrepreneurs to accelerate GPU adaptation for their R&D and software solutioning needs. He has direct experience and is passionate in accelerated computing/software research/deep learning, design and development covering end-to-end needs. He also has published numerous publications, patents and software libraries from his past work.
Axel Tan,Investment Manager, MomentUM Ventures
Axel is the Investment Manager of MomentUM Ventures,the Corporate Venture Arm of SMRT Corporation Ltd. He was instrumental in setting up Momentum in 2017and thereafter joined the young unit as its first employee. He believes strongly in continuous improvement and challenging the status quo. Prior to Momentum, Axel worked in Strategy and Investments, working on M&A projects and building new ventures, mainly focused on transportation technologies.
