Speaker's Profile:
Su Fen Ong, Lead, Health Data & AI, APACMed
Su Fen leads the APACMed Health Data Committee, working with members to shape a more conducive, harmonized and secure landscape to facilitate access to healthcare data in Asia Pacific. She brings expertise in stakeholder engagement and geopolitical analysis to the healthcare industry and seeks to facilitate open channels of communication amongst policy makers and companies. Prior to joining APACMed, she led a team of officers in Singapore’s Land Transport Authority (LTA), leveraging commuter data to incentive shifts in travel behavior through gamification. She has a Masters in Social Sciences, specialising in China and Global Governance from Nanyang Technological University.

Devya Bharati, Regulatory Affairs, APACMed
Devya joined APACMed in 2023 to support the Regulatory Affairs (RA) Committee with operational and logistical expertise. Over the past two years, she has taken on leadership roles, driving key regional initiatives and collaborating with members to align on critical regulatory developments. She brings experience in Regulatory Affairs, Operational Excellence, and Quality Assurance, gained through hands-on internships and projects. Devya holds a Diploma in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from the Singapore Institute of Technology, equipping her with a multidisciplinary perspective to contribute meaningfully to APACMed’s initiatives.

Dr Vanessa Ding, Deputy Director, Talent, SGInnovate
Dr Vanessa Ding is currently the Deputy Director of the Talent Team at SGInnovate. She leads the Helix Immersion Programme team to help build a pipeline of “work-ready” talent to bridge the gap for the Biotech ecosystem in Singapore. Dr Vanessa has accumulated more than 16 years of experience spanning R&D in cell biology and therapeutics development, spinoff management, strategic planning, and commercial development in the biotech and the bioprocessing industry.
