Woo Qiyun

Qiyun is a visual storyteller who loves exploring the complexities of climate change. In addition to a Bachelors (Hons) in Environmental Studies and diverse experience in corporate sustainability, she also runs The Weird and Wild (https://www.instagram.com/theweirdandwild) which is an Instagram page that uses illustrations to make climate information accessible. Dr Tan Pei Leng, Research Fellow, NTU School of Materials Science and Engineering
Dr Tan Pei Leng

Pei Leng currently holds a position at Nanyang Technological University as a research fellow in the School of Materials Science and Engineering. Her research interests include sustainability research in cultivated meat, agriculture, and waste valorisation, as well as translational biomedical research in tissue engineering and medical device fabrication. She is committed to bridging the gap between cutting-edge scientific breakthroughs and their tangible implementation in commercial domains and strives to connect with more like-minded experts in the relevant field to make the world a better place. Pei Leng is also the winner of Falling Walls Lab Singapore 2023, where her pitch on "Breaking the Wall of Large Burn Wound Healing" led her to compete in the global finale in Berlin among 65 other countries.
