Healthcare is changing, and executives in MedTech and healthcare know that R&D, innovation and adoption of new technologies are crucial in ensuring that better healthcare is provided to patients. A survey by Forbes found that 80 per cent of executives in MedTech expect innovation to happen through partnerships, rather than in-house, with an increasing emphasis on open innovation, in which firms from diverse industries cooperate in some areas of research and development.
