Jet (Zhisong) Deng

Dr. Deng has engaged in the cybersecurity and data protection legal practice since 2012 and has advised numerous domestic and foreign clients on establishing compliance systems, designing business models, and coping with administrative investigations and civil litigations and received high praise. Dr. Deng is a member of the Professional Technical Committee of the China Cybersecurity Review and Certification Center (CCRC) and a member of the Network and Information Law Research Center of China Law Society. In 2021, Dr. Deng was awarded as“Top 15 Data Privacy Lawyers 2021” by ACE LEGALTECH AWARDS. Dr. Deng was also one of the major contributors to the Data Compliance Audit Guidelines as released in 2024.

Xue Gong, Prof from NTU, Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS)
Xue Gong

Xue Gong is Coordinator and Assistant Professor in China Programme of S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Her current research interests include economic statecraft, China’s economic diplomacy, regionalism and governance. She has contributed to peer-reviewed journals such as the World Development, International Affairs, International Relations of the Asia-Pacific, the Pacific Review, Contemporary Southeast Asia, Harvard Asia Quarterly and so on. She has two co-edited books on the Belt and Road Initiative. She has also contributed to book chapters on China’s economic statecraft, Belt and Road Initiative in Southeast Asia. Dr Gong is a Non-resident scholar at Carnegie China.

Lek Kok Hou, Principal Manager, Singapore Office, China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Group (CSSD)
Lek Kok Hou

Lek Kok Hou is the Principal Manager of the CSSD Singapore office. Together with his colleagues, he helps companies with their business needs and growth plans into China through Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP). CSSD is a joint venture industrial township developer established by China and Singapore government in 1994, with SIP as its flagship project. It is now a leading industrial developer with various townships across China. The company is also listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in Dec 2019, with an IPO of RMB$1.36 billion. Its core business covers full-suite industrial township development, direct investment and energy solutions. In Singapore, CSSD also operates the SIP International Business Cooperation Centre (IBCC) at one-north district, which serves as a bridge for business activities and innovation collaborations between both countries.

Tyler (Tianlu) Huang, COO / Co-founder, Transfong Ventures
Tyler (Tianlu) Huang

Tyler Huang, with 19 years of expertise spanning semiconductor production management, venture capital, and multinational technology transfer, serves as the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Transfong Ventures. Prior to this role, he held positions as a former NXP R&D engineer and senior project manager, specialising in fields encompassing semiconductor processes, devices, high-end manufacturing, and chip design. Tyler holds an M.Sc. from the National University of Singapore and dual B.Eng degrees from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in Chengdu.
