Ling Fan, the founder of Sequoia Capital-backed startup Tezign which serves customers like Alibaba and uses AI to create commercial designs, will be sharing about the intersection and co-evolution of AI and design two fields that we do not normally think or expect to intersect.

Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Tezign
Ling Fan received his Doctorate from Harvard University and a Master from Princeton University. He is an expert on AI Design and Organizational Intelligence. Dr Fan taught at the University of California, Berkeley and now he is the founding chair of Tongji x Tezign Design & AI Lab and a PhD supervisor at Tongji University. He is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, the fourth class of Aspen Institute China Fellow and a member of Aspen Global Leadership Network. He is also elected to the Thousand Talents Plan. Dr Fan is an active speaker at international conferences including World Economic Forum Annual Meetings, Harvard College China Forum, Boao Asian Forum, etc.

Jia Qing is the founder of Nurture.AI, a platform which makes AI research more efficient, reproducible and accessible. He also catalysed the global AI Saturdays movement in more than 100 cities around the world, and has been invited to speak at conferences such as the ReWork Deep Learning Summit, TEDxSUTD, NVIDIA AI Conference and the Yunqi2050. Previously, Jia Qing taught data science and AI at General Assembly and the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute.
