Corporates often have to find a differentiator point to set their business apart from competitors. Working with startups could enable established corporates better achieve their competitive edge in today's digital economy.
Startups often develop some of the latest technologies and innovations that may disrupt entire industries. However, startups in the mobility space often face the challenge of selling to or working with the world's largest automotive and mobility brands. Although corporates are beginning to recognise the missed opportunity if startups are not sufficiently engaged, there are still many factors for such a relationship to be established.
In this session, join our speakers to understand more about investor-corporate-startup collaborations in the mobility sector. Learn more about the various viewpoints and considerations corporates may have as they consider to engage more with and adopt solutions by startups.

Keith Noh, Head of Startup Incubation Team, Hyundai Motor Group
Keith Noh from Hyundai Motor Company brings with him 15 years of insights and experience in the Automotive industry.
With more than 10 years (2006-2017) spent as a Senior Patent Engineer Keith worked on patent prosecution & transaction in electronic tech, AV, infotainment and hydrogen sectors.
As a Senior Investment Manager in HMC (2017-2019) Keith worked as a group leader in collaboration with the company's international innovation offices (CRADLEs). Together they led more than 30 investments including MeshKorea, Wayray and CODE42.
Since 2019 Keith is Head of the Startup Incubation Team in Hyundai Motor Company - a team of 25 professionals working on partnerships and early stage investments (in Korea and globally) through domestic / global acceleration programs and direct investments. The Startup Incubation Team is also directly co-working with the CRADLE offices in Silicon Valley, Berlin, Tel-Aviv and Beijing.
Keith graduated in 2005 from Korea University with a BS in Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Daniel Chow, Vice President, ComfortDelGro Ventures
Daniel Chow joined ComfortDelGro in 2017 and is currently the Head of ComfortDelGro Ventures. He facilitates innovation and investment partnerships with technology startup companies who wish to engage with ComfortDelGro's mobility ecosystem. Prior to his current appointment, Daniel was in ComfortDelGro's Group Business Development team where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnership mandates worldwide. Before joining ComfortDelGro, Daniel founded a startup in the transportation and logistics industry, and held various senior positions in the media & entertainment and telecom industries. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from Imperial College London, U.K. He has also attended an international management program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, U.S.A.
Khoo Teng Lip, Head, ST Engineering Ventures
Teng Lip is Head of ST Engineering Ventures ( STEV) - the corporate venture capital unit of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (SGX: S63) - a global technology, defence and engineering group specialising in the aerospace, electronics, land systems and marine sectors. With regional offices in San Francisco and Tel Aviv, STEV manages a US$ 150M Fund that focuses on emerging technologies such as robotics, autonomous technology, data analytics and cyber security.
Prior to joining ST Engineering, Teng Lip was Investment Director at Archipelago Capital Partners - a Singapore-based South-East Asia focused buyout/control fund investing in industrial and consumer sectors. He has also served as Investment Director at Phillip Private Equity with direct investment and turn-around experience in sectors, such as manufacturing, cleantech, healthcare, energy and mining. Teng Lip started his career as an armour officer in the Singapore Armed Forces, after completing his university studies on the Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Scholarship.
Teng Lip graduated from the University of Oxford with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a Master of Science in International Relations (Distinction). He holds a MBA for Executives (Distinction) from INSEAD and EMBA from Tsinghua University, and has also been awarded the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certification.

Tong Hsien Hui, Executive Director - Venture Investing, SGInnovate
Hsien-Hui brings with him in-depth knowledge and experience in the Business Development and Venture Capital spaces across Australia, Europe, Singapore and the US.
As Executive Director - Venture Investing, Hsien-Hui oversees SGInnovate's investments efforts, which target high-potential, deep tech startups working in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Vehicles, MedTech and Blockchain.
Prior to joining SGInnovate, he was the Managing Partner, Asia Pacific for Wassax Ventures. He has also served as the CEO of the National University of Singapore Society (NUSS) and Vice President at Staples. In the early 2000s, he co-founded a data mining company, which was sold to a global bank two years later. Hsien-Hui graduated in 1998 from NUS with a Bachelor of Engineering.
