Overview

In the constantly evolving realm of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), a noticeable shift has garnered widespread attention. The once soaring NFT prices have now experienced a substantial downturn. This panel aims to delve into the intricate world of NFTs, tracing their journey from rapid expansion to a significant market correction. Key aspects to be explored include market saturation, shifts in investor sentiment, and the influence of speculative trading.

The panel will take a deep dive into the complex legal landscape of NFTs, with a focus on the challenges faced by buyers, and startup founders as they navigate issues related to copyright, trademark, and ownership rights. The panel will also spotlight the role of blockchain in establishing ownership and resolving intellectual property (IP) disputes, while offering insights from investors on strategies to adopt post-price correction. The discussion will envision the innovative potential within the NFT space and emphasize the importance of preserving IP rights while fostering creativity and innovation.

Bonus session - Prior to the panel, IPOS International will be offering complimentary 1-1 IP Consultations to offer guidance and assistance related to IP matters. If you’ve always wondered how to go about protecting your IP, managing it and maximising its value, indicate your interest here.*
