Course Objectives
By the end of this module, you should be able to
- Demonstrate the ability to apply design thinking and needs analysis to unmet healthcare/clinical needs.
- Understand the importance of a well-crafted user needs specification and design a preliminary user needs specification document.
- Apply ideation strategies to brainstorm possible healthcare solutions and where they would meet gaps in the patient/user journey
- Recognise pertinent nuances towards health and medtech innovation that are unique to this specialty.
Pre-requisites:
- Diploma for Health Care Professionals
- At least a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent for all other professions and disciplines
