Overview
Global megatrends are forcing supply chain and logistics companies to re-think their business models. According to an Accenture research study, ‘digital disruption in the industry threatens traditional players with irrelevance - unless they too learn to disrupt' because ‘agile new entrants (like startups) touting digital, customer-centric business models are steadily fragmenting it'.
In addition, innovation efforts of the supply chain and logistics industry have been focused on sustainable practices, warehouse automation, etc. Are these efforts sufficient, or are there other imminent areas that industry players should also be looking?
At this by-invite only executive roundtable led by SGInnovate, in partnership with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and the Global Emerging Supply Chain Technologies (GESCT) Think Tank, we want to connect leaders from startups and corporates for an engaging session to discuss:
