Overview
SGInnovate and Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC) are co-hosting a regional competition that culminates at XTC Singapore Demo Day on March 25, where outstanding startups will be showcased. The top three startups will become XTC finalists and be invited to Paris in June 2020.
As an XTC finalist, the startup will get an opportunity to connect with XTC partners (Samsung, Mahindra, Ford, NXP, Harman, Cisco) and possibly pitch to an esteemed panel of judges (comprising of Young Sohn, Corporate President & CSO of Samsung Electronics, Bill Tai, Partner Emeritus of Charles River Ventures, and Tim Draper, Founding Partner of Draper Associates) at Vivatech, one of the largest European tech conferences.
A not-for-profit organisation supported by leading corporations, VCs, universities and institutions, XTC is the world's largest startup competition for entrepreneurs addressing global challenges. In particular, XTC seeks to empower startups to innovate in the following seven key categories, as inspired by the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- Agritech, Food and Water
- Cleantech and Energy
- Education
- Enabling Technologies
- Fintech
- Healthcare
- Transportation and Smart Cities
Interested startups are invited to submit applications to the XTC Singapore here by 9 Mar 2020 (Monday), 5:00pm Singapore time.
