Overview

HealthTEC Connect IV gathers industry leaders, CCOs & researchers to discuss about the remote monitoring technologies in community care.

Join us to hear from our presenters from the community care organizations AIC & LB on the value of technology adoption to support eldercare, as well as about upcoming technologies being developed by academics (A*Star), the healthcare industry (SingHealth) and the telco(Singtel) facilitating smooth real-time data transmission for remote monitoring. Remote monitoring technologies have been playing a significant role in Singapore's community care sector. These technologies have been adopted to drive digitalization efforts and enhance patient care. During the COVID-19 pandemic, remote monitoring technologies have been utilized to enhance care for patients, including those in community care facilities. For example, remote monitoring enables easy communication between patients and healthcare teams, facilitating close monitoring of health and prompt clinical and psychological interventions. The use of remote monitoring technologies in Singapore's community care not only improves patient care but also supports the transformation of healthcare by leveraging digital health solutions. The Singapore government has been investing in digital engagement and transformation initiatives, including telehealth and virtual care, to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the population.
