SGInnovate's Investors Night series brings together the community of venture capitalists (VCs), angel investors, and corporate VCs for knowledge sharing, networking and collaborations.

In this edition, presented with Blockchain Valley Ventures (Switzerland's leading security token advisory firm) and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce, we will take a deep dive into security token offerings as an alternative fundraising mechanism, learn about the Swiss experience, and discuss best practices.

Speakers' Profiles:

Tong Hsien-Hui,Head of Venture Investing,SGInnovate

Mr Tong Hsien-Hui brings with him in-depth knowledge and experience in the business development and venture capital spaces in Australia, Europe, Singapore and the US.

As the Head, Venture Investing, Hsien-Hui oversees SGinnovate's investments efforts, which target high-potential, deep technology startups working on areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Vehicles, MedTech and Blockchain.

Prior to joining SGInnovate, he was the Managing Partner, Asia-Pacific for Wassax Ventures. He has also served as the CEO of the National University of Singapore Society (NUSS) and Vice President at
Staples. In the early 2000s, he co-founded a data mining company, which was sold to a global bank two years later.

Hsien-Hui graduated in 1998 from NUS with a Bachelor of Engineering.

Dr. Ing. Heinrich Zetlmayer, CEO, Blockchain Valley Ventures

Heinrich is an active digital investor, early investor in Lykke, and member of the board of Lykke. He has extensive operational and strategic experience in growth and turnaround situations of large and small companies. He was a member of IBM's Executive Board in Switzerland, and Vice President and Country Leader of IBM Global Business Services.

At IBM, he held several senior positions within IBM Global Business Services, including leading IBM's Supply Chain and Operations Services in EMEA. Before IBM, Heinrich was Senior Partner, leading Arthur D. Little's Global Operations Practice. He was leading as Co-CEO Turtle Entertainment for many years.

He holds a doctorate from the Technical University in Munich in automation.

Bndicte Nolens, Head of Regulatory Affairs for Asia and Europe & CCO for Asia, Circle

Bndicte is the Head of RegulatoryAffairs (Asia and Europe) andCCO (Asia)for Circle, a world-leading cryptofinance company that has raised $250 million in funding and has over 7 million customersglobally.

From 2012 to 2018 she was the Head ofRisk and Strategy forthe Hong KongSecurities and Futures Commission.From2007 to 2012 she was theManagingDirector at Credit Suisse and before thatan Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, and an associate at White and Case.

Bndicte is also a Board Member ofthe Hong Kong Fintech Association, aMember of the Global Digital FinanceAdvisory Council, and the co-Head of theEducational Committee of Women inFinance. In 2016 she was a recipient ofthe China Daily Asian Women LeadershipAwards for people who are dedicated toentrepreneurialism, innovation andchange.

She holds a J.D. from the University ofLeuven (1995 - High Honours) and anLLM (1996) and MBA (2004 - HighHonours) from the University of Chicago.She has been admitted to the New York StateBar since 1999.

Prakash Somosundram, Director, XSQ

Prakash Somosundram is an entrepreneur from Singapore.

He has built and successfully exited a few businesses and has also had a fair share of failures along the way.

He has been involved in the Blockchain and Cryptocurrency world since 2016 and believes that Blockchain companies will be the key economic drivers in the Financial Renaissance that we will see in the years ahead. Built on the rapid progress that we have experienced with Digital Disruption and Transformation, the next phase of growth powered by Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, we will see a new era of wealth creation and distribution to bring about happiness and prosperity.

Prakash is currently the Head of Acceleration at XSQ Global, a Singapore based digital assets firm focused on investing and accelerating talented founders who have a passion for Token-based models for fundraising and corporate development.
