Speaker Profiles:

Virginia Cha is an educator, mentor, and angel investor in Singapore's entrepreneur ecosystem with more than 37 years of professional experiences in technology companies and new ventures. She has 16 companies in her angel investment portfolio. Currently Virginia actively spends her time teaching and supporting entrepreneurs in INSEAD, NUS and SIM Platform E.

Michael Blakey became a full time angel investor in 2000 when he cofounded Avonmore Developments with his brother, Simon. He's invested in over 25 companies in the UK and achieved 10 successful exits. In Southeast Asia, Michael has invested in a further 16 startups since 2013. During Michael's career he's been named ‘UK Angel Investor of the Year 2015' by the UK Business Angel Association, selected as one of the ‘Maserati 100' and voted by AngelsNews into the list of ‘Business Angels You Should Know'.Of his angel portfolio: Majority were pre-revenue and a few were even at pre-MVP. Generalist investor, as his investment focus is on people/ problem/ market opportunity. He has invested in wide variety of sectors from cosmetics, logistics, robotics and normal SaaS/ digital businesses and he is most comfortable investing in B2B businesses.

Craig Dixon is the Entrepreneur in Residence and Program Manager for the muru-D global startup accelerator's Singapore program. Prior to muru-D Craig was co-founder of Zumata, a travel technology startup that received funding from Wavemaker Partners and 500 startups, among others. Craig has been involved in more than 50 pre-Seed and Seed level investments in startups as either a founder, institutional investor or Angel investor. He has a passion for building a more efficient startup ecosystem in Southeast Asia, focusing on standardization of investment terms and fairness between startup founders and investors. Prior to his startup career Craig worked in banking for 7 years and received his MBA from the University of Maryland and HKUST.

The Panel will be moderated by Dorothy Yu, co-founder and COO of EngageRocket, a SAAS platform that analyses employee feedback realtime. Previously she was the Head of Operations Gallup SEA.
