About the Speakers:
Bjorn Lee,Founder CEO,MindFi
Bjorn Lee is a serial entrepreneur of tech startups in Singapore and Silicon Valley and also a keen student of mindfulness. He doesn't consider that a paradox. During his 2nd startup in 2011, Bjorn attended his 1st 10-day meditation retreat in northern India. Since then, he has been experimenting to integrate mindfulness artfully into his daily life of digital mindlessness. As an ex-product manager at Zendesk, his exposure to the high-pressure customer support industry made him realize mindfulness is not just a personal, but social problem. Bjorn is currently working on a stealth startup to attempt and solve this problem.
Jeames Gillett,Chief Operating Officer,WellteQ
Jeames has always gravitated towards health and wellbeing. Several years spent as a semi-professional athlete brought about an understanding to look after both the mind and body. A Standford graduate with a degree in exercise physiology, he has seen his expertise shared with elite athletes, the general public and the corporate world. With 15 years' experience within corporate wellness, Jeames has watched the space evolve significantly. His expertise lies in innovating and scaling organisations, having been part of one of Australia's largest workplace health company's exit and now co-founding WellteQ. Jeames leads a charge to bring some of the industry's most innovative technologies into a single ecosystem the end result being to empower employees around the world to better understand where their health is at today, and how incremental changes can lead to a greater wellbeing tomorrow.
While Jeames continues to be extremely active in the health and wellbeing sector, he has grown entrenched in technology and data analytics, with their ability to reach and influence both individuals and organisations alike to make true, meaningful change.
