Guy Llewellyn, Asst. Professor, EHL Campus (Singapore)
Guy Llewellyn

Guy Llewellyn, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at EHL Campus Singapore and co-founded the campus' Entrepreneur and Innovation Lab in 2022. Before joining EHL, he spent over a decade in the food and beverage and hotel industry, holding senior positions such as Executive Chef, Club Manager, and General Manager. With extensive experience in HR management, Guy has overseen recruitment, talent development, and team leadership in hospitality settings. He completed his PhD in Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, with specialties in hospitality technology, HR management, data analytics, and operational excellence.

Max Martin, CTO, Kai
Max Martin

Max Martin is the CTO and Co-Founder of Kai, an AI powered booking agent to support hotels, tour operators and travel agents in communicating with their customers and increasing booking conversions. Max completed his Masters in Engineering in the UK before joining Barclays Bank in London and receiving his Chartered Accountant qualification. He then moved to Singapore to join the startup accelerator programme Antler where he received funding with his co-founder to build Kai. Kai's customers now include leading hotels in the Maldives that have deployed their AI powered chat solution on their website to automate customer queries and create additional leads. They are continually hearing feedback on new ways to support hospitality teams and are launching new AI powered features that can solve their most pressing challenges.

Fabrizio Cerutti

Fabrizio is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 25 years of experience in multi-tasking functions and vast exposure to operations involving start-up and growth organizations, covering on-site and corporate executive management roles. He has played key roles in developing and managing 18 cruise vessels, focusing on creating operational manuals and training modules for staff. Fabrizio has led initiatives in real estate, cruise, and aviation industries and developed two Hospitality & Training Academies in Indonesia and the Philippines. He has also managed operations for floating hotels at major international events and has expertise in implementing technology-driven health, safety, and auditing systems to ensure compliance with international standards.

Tan Joo Seng

Dr. Tan Joo Seng is an Associate Professor at Nanyang Business School, where he has contributed significantly to the field of hospitality management. He was a core faculty member of the Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management (CNI), teaching in the Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) and other professional development programs. With over 25 years of experience in executive leadership and strategic consulting, Dr. Tan has worked with various renowned hospitality organizations, including Hilton Worldwide and Shangri-La Hotels. His expertise spans cultural intelligence, strategic leadership, and digital transformation, making him a sought-after thought leader by Fortune 500 companies. He's also supervised projects relating to the hospitality sector. His latest research on learning agility, an essential topic for organizations going through transformation, has just been published In the MIT Sloan Management Review.
