Overview
Marek Kamiski plans to go around the world in a zero-emission car and with AI robot, NOA, to spread the idea of environmental changes and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. As part of this project, he would like to delve into the interaction between human and artificial intelligence in isolated conditions while circumnavigating the world. He aims to explore the cooperation between human and robot, that could prove useful in many other aspects of life.
In this talk, Marek will also share his thoughts and experiences gathered from selected past expeditions - starting from reaching the North and South Poles without any external help and achieving both Poles in one year with Jan Mela, a disabled teenager. He will also share about the No Trace Expedition, his trip with an electric car through Siberia and the Gobi desert according to the concept of techno-eco-life.
Marek will then present details of his latest project - the AI No Trace Expedition, which he defines as experimental futurology. This project consists of a series of experiments that will be carried out during an unprecedented and first-ever circumnavigating of the globe by a human and the AI robot, NOA. This eight-month journey will show how the coexistence of man and AI will look in the future. And whether AI can help us deal with the problems relating to overcoming civilisation diseases, such as depression and burnout, but also with the protection of nature and the environment that surrounds us.
As a part of this expedition, Marek will travel through 20 countries around the world. He will start and finish in London, via Europe, Turkey, Iran, India, China, South Korea, Japan and the United States in a zero-emission car. He hopes to create a new mindset with this project by connecting people with technology and raising awareness of what can be achieved with AI.This project is based on the three pillars of Singularity, Sustainability and Empowerment.
