Overview
Sustainable Metal Cloud (SMC) is hosting the Singapore Generative AI Hackathon together with NVIDIA and OpenACC Organization. This multi-day event provides intensive, hands-on skills-building to assist AI developers and researchers develop, optimize, and easily deploy AI applications using NVIDIA® NIM™ inference microservices.
NVIDIA NIM helps to overcome the challenges of building AI applications by providing a set of optimized cloud-native microservices designed to simplify the deployment of generative AI models across the cloud, data center, and GPU-accelerated workstations and facilitate seamless AI inferencing at scale.
Participate in the Singapore Generative AI Hackathon and develop incredible proofs of concept for real-world problems with mentorship from NVIDIA AI experts. This session is open to all innovators and enthusiasts looking to advance their knowledge and skills in deploying Generative AI use cases!
Note:
The teams can select the pre-defined problem statement or bring their own real-world problem. View the “Problem Statement” tab for more information on problem statements.
Teams are expected to submit their presentation by October 13th via the website through their registered account. Presentations can be updated until the deadline.
Teams will be selected based on the presentations. Participants for Stage 2 of the hackathon will be announced on October 29.
Stage 2 selected teams will be paired with dedicated mentors during the event, who will help deploy the Generative AI use cases with the power of NVIDIA NIM microservices.
For questions about the problem statement, contact the Open Hackathons team via the Slack workspace.
Please note, this will be an in-person event.
Why you should participate:
Teams who advanced to participate in Stage 2 of the Hackathon will get an opportunity to:
Get trained on how to optimize and deploy the latest models using NVIDIA NIM.
Receive guidance and advice from NVIDIA AI experts.
Qualified teams get access to the latest GPU system during the hackathon
