IES-INCA presents our latest course for the Professional Development of Tech Venture Leader and Engineering Leaders.

Combining the best of Critical Thinking and Emotional Intelligence Skills, Leaders can uplift their abilities to drive better business results.

Navigating the VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) world of today requires new skills and approaches for Tech Venture Leaders and Engineering Leaders. Leaders need to utilise our Analytical left Brain and our Creative Right brain together to come up with the best ideas and communicate them effectively to our team, stakeholders and customers.

In Day 1, participants will discover that they have the capacity to enhance their thinking process based on various Critical Thinking methodologies and apply the learning to develop robust solutions to the problems they face in the Engineering and Technology industry.

In Day 2, the program is designed to equip Leaders with the essential tools they require to navigate cross-cultural interactions with sensitivity, empathy, and a profound grasp of emotional intelligence so as to achieve clear and effective communications and commitment.

Course Description & Learning Outcomes

At the end of Day 1 of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understanding critical thinking framework and applying critical thinking to evaluate information for insights and improvement in engineering processes and businesses

  • Understand mental blocks and how to overcome them so as to become more creative and critical in looking at engineering and business issues

  • Organize information and collaborate effectively both in engineering and business for effective problem solving and decision making

At the end of Day 2 of the workshop, participants will be able to: 

  • Achieve greater awareness of a variety of cultures for better effectiveness in engaging effectively in Engineering Projects or collaborations. 

  • Be equipped with tools and methodologies to engage in cross cultural interactions with greater sensitivity, empathy and emotional intelligence.

  • Communicate effectively with a diverse range of cross cultural team members to meet the desired Engineering Business or Technology development outcomes.
