Overview
Quantum science and technology promises powerful new computers, unbreakable encryption, and sensors that can measure the tiniest shifts in time and gravity. These are introduced in ‘Quantum The Exhibition', through a logical narrative that begins with the basics of light and matter.
The exhibition combines the world's first travelling exhibition focused on quantum technology with new content that showcases Singapore's stake in quantum technologies - featuring local projects, people and impacts. The original exhibition was created by the Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo. The Singapore installation is supported by A*STAR, the Centre for Quantum Technologies at the National University of Singapore, the Nanyang Technological University, the National Research Foundation, and the National Supercomputing Centre.
This networking reception is also supported by SGInnovate, a government-owned entity that invests in and helps commercialise deep tech startups in AI and data, quantum tech, medtech.
