The (SCTP) Programme for the Lean Six Sigma Champion and Operational Excellence Manager is a 3 – 4 months career transition programme strategically structured around the principles of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Eligible individuals can enjoy up to 95% SkillsFuture funding.

Trainer's Profile:
Yoong Fook Loy, Associate Faculty, Engineering, Singapore Institute of TechnologyYoong Fook Loy is currently an Associate Faculty of SIT, specialising in Lean. He is currently the Managing Director of Centre for Performance Transformation that enable business transformation through process, people and business modelling. He also represents Pivotal Resources in Asia as the Managing Consultant for Lean and Six Sigma. He has been providing in-depth consulting, training and hands-on deployment in Socio-technical system of Organisation Design and Development since 1995. Fook Loy spent nearly 12 years at General Electric (GE) and has the opportunity to work in different businesses. He held various positions in Operation, Human Resources Development and Six Sigma. His last rotation in GE was as Corporate Leadership Program Manager for Asia, overseeing talent development in numerous GE Leadership Programs before moving into the area of Lean Six Sigma Consulting in 2002.

Thomas Chew, Senior Consultant, Centre for Performance Transformation, Singapore Institute of TechnologyThomas Chew is a certified Lean Master, Six Sigma Black Belt and Kaizen Coach with 24 years of experience in various industries. He has just returned from his expat assignment in Kazakhstan, where he supported Shell as a Continuous Improvement Master Coach. His other assignments with Shell included being on assignment at Norske Shell (upstream) in Norway, where he developed fit-for-purpose Lean training programmes. The training laid the foundation to support the roll-out of the fit-for-future initiative. A major contribution was in his role as CI Lead for Global Key Account (GKA) and Specialties (Europe), where he supported the simplification efforts in the Tender Assessment Process, reducing lead-time from 50 days to 14 days, amongst others.
