Overview
This 2-day course focuses on hands-on engineering of intelligent software robots and virtual assistants. Applications include interactive virtual assistants that can undertake intelligent tasks via verbal and textual instructions as well as RPA (robot process automation) applications.
Course Description & Learning Outcomes
This course is a part of the Graduate Certificate in Intelligent Software Agents, which is a part of the Stackable Graduate Certificate Programme in Artificial Intelligent Systems (master degree) offered by NUS-ISS. Upon completion of the course, the participants will be able to: - Design and build AI powered software robots (e.g. interactive voice assistants) using open source toolsets.
Recommended Prerequisites
Participants are expected to possess the following: - Basic programming skills such as python. - Linux shell scripting is a plus, but not mandatory.
Pre-course instructions
No printed course materials will be issued. Participants must bring their internet-enabled computing device (laptop recommended) with power charger to access and download course materials, as well as conduct workshops. Registration close date: 18/12/2023
