Quantum computing allows data to be recorded and stored through non-binary qubits of information rather than binary bits, showcasing the multiplicity of states in the quantum world.
In commercial computing, this technology translates to machines and software that perform tasks similar to classical digital computers and even better in one particular job: performing combinatorics calculations quickly and efficiently. This capability opens up immense possibilities and has encouraged billions of dollars of investment in this domain.

Dr Sebastian Luber, Senior Director Technology & Innovation, Infineon Technologies
Sebastian Luber holds a PhD in physics and is Senior Director for Technology & Innovation. As the spokesperson of the Infineon-wide expert group for second-generation quantum technologies, he represents Infineon in a variety of external bodies and activities. Most recently, he has been appointed advisor on quantum technologies to the German Ministry of Science and was a member of the German government's expert council for a national quantum computing roadmap. Furthermore, Sebastian Luber is actively involved as a working group leader in QUTAC, the German Quantum Technology & Application Consortium, which was largely initiated by Infineon. Previously, he held various positions in the company, including MEMS-Technology-Line Manager and Program Manager for Pressure Sensors.
Ewan Munro, CTO & Co-Founder, Entropica Labs
Ewan Munro is the CTO and Co-Founder of Entropica Labs. He has a PhD in theoretical physics from Singapore's Centre for Quantum Technologies.
Asst Prof Vibhor Singh, Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Science Quantum Technology Initiative, IISC
Vibhor Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, IISc. The focus of his research is on superconducting devices based emerging quantum technology. Research in his lab spans a variety of activities such as cavity-opto-mechanics in microwave domain, superconducting materials for quantum devices, circuit-QED systems, superconducting qubit-based hybrid optomechanical systems.
Manas Mukherjee, Centre for Quantum Technologies, NUS and Institute of Materials Research and Engineering, A*STAR
Manas Mukherjee is a Principal Investigator at the Centre for Quantum Technologies and the Director for the National Quantum Fabless Foundry (IMRE/A*STAR), an initiative under Singapore’s Quantum Engineering Programme. His research interests lie in the implementation of quantum protocols for quantum computing and metrology. He began his career in physics as an undergraduate at the Indian Institute of Technologies, Kharagpur, earned a PhD from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and was a Lise-Meitner Fellow at the University of Innsbruck, Austria before settling in Singapore in 2012. Since 2019, Manas has pursued an island-wide effort to consolidate quantum device fabrication and speed up quantum system building in the form of a R&D foundry for quantum devices.

Dr Julia Binder, Director Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Infineon Technologies
Julia Binder is Director for Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions at Infineon Technologies and holds a PhD in material science and an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs in Paris. She manages the Quantum Technology & Application Consortium (QUTAC), an industry consortium of twelve leading German corporations, where Infineon currently holds the chairmanship. QUTAC focuses on raising quantum computing to the level of large-scale industrial application. Previously, she held various positions in Infineon, including Executive Board Assistant to the Infineon board member for Sales, Marketing and Distribution and Strategic Marketing Manager for Intelligent Power Modules.
