Overview
Artificial intelligence is everywhere, driving a multi-billion dollar industry and radically changing how businesses operate and how people work and play. Yet as powerful as it is today, major limitations are holding back the realization of AI's true capabilities.
In this talk, we'll take an entertaining and informative look at where we've been, where we are, and where we're heading with artificial intelligence. We'll drill down on the major limitations of today's narrow AI solutions, then discuss how the coming Third Wave of AI will overcome these limitations by producing AI with more humanlike abilities, such as contextual adaptation, greatly improved learning, and the ability to generalize.
We'll then look at some of the incredible new opportunities that will be possible within just a few short years and conclude by examining how Third Wave AI can be a stepping stone to the fourth and final wave of AI, Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
