The trusted use of data is the foundation of a vibrant Digital Economy, and trusted data flows have the potential to deliver tremendous benefits to both organisations and consumers. For organisations, it facilitates more effective information exchanges, enables shared data assets (e.g. between business partners) to support the development of innovative solutions, and to customise services and processes for different market segments. For consumers, their willingness to share their data with organisations reflects the amount of confidence they have in an organisation's ability to use and safeguard data.

Guy Cohen, Policy & Strategy Lead, Privitar
Guy Cohen works on issues of data protection regulation, standards and frameworks, and data ethics. In addition to his role at Privitar, Guy is a fellow at Cambridge University's Centre of Science and Policy, a member of the Royal Society Privacy Enhancing Technologies Working Group, and technical editor for the IEEE Data Privacy Process Standard. Prior to joining Privitar, Guy worked in various roles in the UK Civil Service, working in the Department of Health, the Cabinet Office and Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.
Dr Ayesha Khanna, CEO & Co-Founder, ADDO AI
Dr Ayesha Khanna is Co-Founder and CEO of ADDO AI, an artificial intelligence (AI) solutions firm and incubator. She has been a strategic advisor on artificial intelligence, smart cities and FinTech to leading corporations and governments. Ayesha also serves on the Board of the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) - a government agency in Singapore that develops its world-class technology sector to drive the country's digital economy and power its Smart Nation vision.
In 2017, ADDO AI was featured in Forbes magazine as one of four leading artificial intelligence companies in Asia and Ayesha was named one of South East Asia's groundbreaking female entrepreneurs by Forbes magazine in 2018. Her clients have included SMRT, Singapore's largest public transport company; Singtel, Singapore's largest telco; SOMPO, Japan's largest insurance firm; Habib Bank, Pakistan's largest bank; and Smart Dubai, the government agency tasked to transform Dubai into a leading smart city.
Ayesha is also the Founder of 21C GIRLS, a charity that delivers free coding and artificial intelligence classes to girls in Singapore, and founded the Empower AI for Singapore national movement, which aims to teach all youth in the country the basics of artificial intelligence.
Before founding ADDO AI, Ayesha spent more than a decade on Wall Street developing large scale trading, risk management and data analytics systems. Ayesha was the co-founder of the Hybrid Reality Institute, a research and advisory group established to analyse the social and economic impact of accelerating technologies. She directed the Future Cities Group at the London School of Economics and has been a Faculty Advisor at Singularity University.
David Tan, Executive Director - Head of Enterprise Data Strategy & Analytics, United Overseas Bank
David Tan leads the Enterprise Data Strategy and Analytics function at the United Overseas Bank (UOB).
His current role focuses on driving data and analytics transformation across the organization, to ultimately lead in adoption and application of data in business strategies and outcomes. He is responsible for establishing the Big Data Analytics Centre which functions as a Centre of Excellence for Advanced Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Innovation and Data Strategy across the region.
UOB's data and analytics transformation program have been recognized at local, regional and international levels through multi-category awards for its achievement in technical, business and people development.
David is an experienced analytics and banking professional who has led successful teams and transformations across multiple businesses lines including Strategy, Risk Management, Data-Driven Marketing and Operations Management. With an international analytics leadership career, David has lived and worked across Australia, Vietnam, Malaysia and currently Singapore.
David graduated from Monash University, Melbourne and is also a CFA charter holder.
Zee Kin Yeong, Assistant Chief Executive (Data Innovation and Protection Group), Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore and Deputy Commissioner, Personal Data Protection Commission
Zee Kin Yeong is Assistant Chief Executive (Data Innovation and Protection Group) of the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA) and Deputy Commissioner of the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
In his capacity as Assistant Chief Executive (Data Innovation and Protection Group), Zee Kin oversees IMDA's Artificial Intelligence and Data Industry development strategy. This is one of four frontier technology areas IMDA has identified for its transformational potential for a Digital Economy. The other three are cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, and immersive media. In his role as an AI and data analytics champion, Zee Kin's work includes developing forward-thinking governance on AI and data, driving a pipeline of AI talent, promoting industry adoption of AI and data analytics, as well as building specific AI and data science capabilities in Singapore.
As the Deputy Commissioner of PDPC, Zee Kin oversees the administering and enforcement of the Personal Data Protection Act (2012). His key responsibilities include managing the formulation and implementation of policies relating to the protection of personal data, as well as the issuing of enforcement directions for organisational actions. He also spearheads the public and sector-specific educational and outreach activities, to raise both awareness and compliance in organisations and individuals in personal data protection.

Steve Leonard, Founding CEO, SGInnovate
Steve Leonard is a technology-industry leader with a wide range of experience, having played key roles in building several global companies in areas such as Software, Hardware and Services. Although born in the US, Steve considers himself a member of the larger global community, having lived and worked outside the US for more than 25 years.
In his current role as the Founding Chief Executive Officer of SGInnovate - a private limited company wholly owned by the Singapore Government - Steve has been chartered to lead an organisation that builds ‘deep tech' companies. Capitalising on the science and technology research for which Singapore has gained a global reputation, Steve's team works with local and international partners, including universities, venture capitalists, and major corporations to help technical founders imagine, start and scale globally relevant early stage technology companies from Singapore.
Prior to his role as the CEO of SGInnovate, Steve served three years as the Executive Deputy Chairman of the Infocomm Development Authority (IDA), a government statutory board under the purview of Singapore's Ministry of Communications and Information. In that role, he had executive responsibility at the national level for various aspects of the information technology and telecommunications industries in Singapore.
Steve serves on the advisory boards of a range of universities and organisations in Singapore. He also serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Singapore Post Ltd (SingPost), a global leader in e-commerce logistics; and AsiaSat, a Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed commercial operator of communication spacecraft.
