The event will begin with a short presentation from each startup, followed by a panel discussion with the startup founders, where they will share tips and advice on how to work for a deep tech company.

Tommaso Demarie, CEO & Co-Founder, EntropicaLabs
Tommaso Demarie is a quantum information theorist with more than 9 years of experience in quantum computing. He holds a PhD from Macquarie University, Australia, and is an alumnus of Singapore's Centre for Quantum Technologies. Tommaso is the CEO and co-founder of Entropica Labs, a startup on a mission to unlock the full power of machine learning using quantum computers.
At Entropica Labs, we develop software tools and variational quantum algorithms for optimisation and statistical learning.Our goal Leverage the full power of quantum computing and AI.

Nidhi Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO, Portcast
Nidhi Gupta is an experienced strategy and logistics professional. She has a decade of leadership and C-level consulting experience in Asia Pacific with the Deutsche Post DHL group. She has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore and Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering. Nidhi is passionate about digitisation and innovation in the supply chain and logistics industry. She is currently the co-founder of Portcast, a logistics technology start-up in Singapore which uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to provide predictive analytics for logistics companies.
Portcast is a venture-backed startup using machine learning and AI to help logistics companies predict cargo flows more accurately and improve their profitability. We are a team of data scientists, software developers and industry professionals building the next-gen cargo predictability solution for the global market. We already have a functioning product and high profile customers helping us make this a reality.

Dr. Misha Filippov, Co-Founder & Chief Scientist, Quod AI
Dr. Misha Filippov is a mathematical physicist and a research fellow at UCL. He has built AI models for prestigious institutions including NASA and MAS. In his award-winning paper titled Interactive Global Histories, he applied NLP, graph theory and complexity theory to analyse hundreds of millions of historical lines of text.
Quod AI is the first AI platform that explains source code in plain English. Quod AI helps software engineers make sense of large and complex code base with a searchable semantic FAQ. This approach can more than double the capacity of software engineers!

Swarnima Korde, Asia Talent Manager, Entrepreneur First
Swarnima is the Asia Talent Manager for Entrepreneur First. She's responsible for identifying exceptional founders-to-be for the EF programmes in Singapore, Bangalore and Hong Kong. Before joining the EF team, she was in EF Singapore's second cohort. She is also a trained mechanical engineer, and have spent a few years dabbling in semiconductor manufacturing and integrated circuit design.
