The Blockchain course is designed to provide learners with an in-depth understanding of blockchain technology and its potential applications, as well as the challenges and risks associated with its implementation. Course Description & Learning Outcomes
The Blockchain course is an in-depth course designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of blockchain. Throughout the course, learners will explore the technical architecture of blockchain, including distributed ledgers, cryptography, and consensus mechanisms. The course will also cover the development and deployment of smart contracts, which are self-executing contracts with the terms of the agreement between buyer and seller being directly written into lines of code. In addition, this course will examine various use cases for blockchain technology, including digital currencies, supply chain management, and identity verification. Learners will also explore the potential risks and challenges associated with the implementation of blockchain technology, including scalability and interoperability. Furthermore, the Blockchain course will delve into the regulatory and legal considerations surrounding blockchain technology, including privacy laws, data protection, and intellectual property rights. The course will also examine the social and ethical implications of blockchain technology, such as the impact on employment, governance, and society as a whole. The SCTP Blockchain course is an in-depth course designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology. This course is ideal for individuals who have a basic understanding of blockchain technology and are looking to deepen their knowledge and expertise. Recommended Prerequisites
- Singapore Citizens, Permanent Resident, LTVP+ - 2 GCE ‘N’ Level Passes including English Language with Higher Nitec or Equivalent - Be able to listen, speak, read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPLN) Level 5 - Minimum age 21 years old
