Despite ongoing macroeconomic uncertainties, investments in Singapore’s emerging tech startup ecosystem have rebounded and risen to pre-2021 levels. Led by growth in the Agrifood and Sustainability sectors, the number of Seed-stage deals and total Seed funding have risen across domains, indicating interest in early-stage dealmaking and a greater appetite for Deep Tech investments.

The Singapore Early-Stage Emerging Tech Startups 2023 landscape report offers an overview of the trends in ecosystem developments in Singapore’s emerging tech startup pipeline.

The report, now in its third year, specifically focuses on companies in the pre-Seed to Series A stages across four key verticals – Advanced Manufacturing, Agrifood, Sustainability, and Health & Biomedical Sciences. Highlighting trends and gaps in each of these spaces on a year-to-year basis, this report serves as a source of insight for stakeholders keen to understand the ecosystem better.
